This page details ridden ponies at home, on loan or performing well for their new owners.
Woodbank Madrigal

Madrigal (Heather's Dino x Hiilymead Lullaby) has returned to us after five happy years on loan to our farrier and his wife for their daughter to ride. Milly was very easy to break in, and has proved to be a willing and responsive ride. She has developed into a very typy, substantial mare of great quality.

Woodbank Silver Star

Rocky was Maple's last foal and lost his mother when he was a week old, being subsequently reared on goats' milk through a team effort mainly organised by our daughter Hannah. He was sold as a weaned foal but subsequently bought back as a ridden four-year old, and may be offered on loan to a suitable local home.

  Woodbank Merlin

By the performance sire Pilgrims Excaliber and out of Woodbank Silver Cirrus, herself by the multi-talented Bodenpark Finnard, Merlin was always destined for a ridden career. Sold as a four-year old to Marie Clements, he has gone on to fulfil all her expectations, and is proving a very useful event pony.

Woodbank Smokey Sam

Sam, by Fly the Last Flute ex Cheviot Brambling, was sold as a foal to Jo & Richard Williams, where he received his early education, proving to have a lovely temperament. He went as a four-year old to Steph Wheway's yard where he competed successfully in WHP classes and in showing classes. He went to Olympia (2014), qualified (2015) for RIHS and HOYS and is now in Scotland where he has qualified for RIHS (2018)

Lottie, Molly's first foal, by Boden Park Kilbrew and almost a carbon copy of her dam, was bought unseen as a yearling and we are told that she has done Pony Club camps, hunted at least one season twice a week on Exmoor and has won numerous ODE, HT and SJ awards. This photograph is an early one of her under saddle.

Woodbank Silver Solol

"Kipper", now known as Hector, by Oxenholm Matador out of Sydserff Silver Maple ii, has proved to be a true all-rounder with many wins to his credit, including winning the Junior Section of the Royal Windsor Show Dressage Qualifier at Norton Heath, Area 8.

Woodbank Pioneer

Pioneer was sold as a youngster and has been hunting, XC training and show-jumping successfully.

Woodbank Swallow

Coco is a daughter of Bodenpark Finnard and Bodenpark Snowgoose, and is up to height with superb limbs and a lovely temperament. She had her first foal, Woodbank Martin, by Gentle Match, proving easy to cover, and foaling without difficulty. Swallow is proving to be a very talented performer with an impressive jumping style.

Woodbank Silver Delta

Delta is by Kingstown Charlie ex Woodbank Silver Cirrus. She has inherited both her parents' free, active movement and easy manageable temperament. She was 'started' (July 2015) and was "a delight to deal with", completely calm and unflappable, willing to jump and taking everything in her stride. Delta was sold in the Autumn of 2016 to a lovely home in Shropshire where she and her owner are enjoying fun rides, beach outings and hacking with friends.

Woodbank Solo

Molly's (Hillymead Lullaby) last foal, Solo, by Kingstown Charlie was started by Kath Miller last year and, like all Charlie's offspring, has a super, easy temperament which made her a pleasure to back and ride. She has been lightly ridden at home since then and is very calm and sensible.
