About Woodbank Connemaras

The Woodbank stud was established in 1972 with the purchase of a part-bred Connemara, and first hunters and then sports horses were bred. In 1998 the decision was taken to concentrate on breeding Connemaras, and the first pure-bred filly, Hillymead Lullaby, was purchased. Since then various brood mares of suitable bloodlines have been acquired and the stud now largely comprises home-bred ponies of varying ages.

The various sections of the website describe the past and present ponies, including stallions used, with pedigrees available through links to the All Breeds website, through clicking on the individual pony's name.
